The FIFA Agent Exam 2026 has been announced – Your path to becoming a licensed Football Agent! 

Background: Prior to 2015, FIFA used to conduct an agent exam as an entry barrier, something which has been re-introduced by FIFA by virtue of the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (2022). In short, if you want to work as a football Agent anywhere in the world, it is mandatory for you to pass the FIFA Agent Exam and obtain a License. 

Key dates as follows:

  • 20 January 2026: Opening of Applications
  • 6 March 2026: Closure of Applications
  • 29 March 2026: Deadline for submitting medical accomodation requests, changing exam time slot, location and/or language
  • 14 April 2026: Deadline for Pre-exam Readiness Check window
  • 28, 29, & 30 April 2026: Exam Dates (*FIFA has also notified exam sessions on 5, 6, & 7 May 2026, which will be opened if April sessions are fully booked or if they are required for other justifiable reasons)
  • 4 June 2026: Announcement of Results
  • 7 June 2026: Deadline for results review

Exam Format: 

  • Mode: Online *from Home at your own device (heavily proctored by FIFA); no need to travel to the member association anymore
  • Questions Format: 20 Questions, MCQs
  • Passing Cut-off: 75%, i.e., 15/20 correct answers
  • Time: 60 minutes
  • Open-book, one can access the official study materials while taking the exam

Things to Note: 

  • Applications are now open and can be filled by aspiring agents on the FIFA Agent Platform (get in touch if you face any difficulties while registering)
  • The Pre-Exam Readiness Check is now mandatory. It must be completed using the exact same laptop, location, smartphone, and internet connection intended for exam day.
  • The exam can be taken in English, French, German, or Spanish. Study Materials are available in English, French, and Spanish only.
  • SUCCESS WILL NOT HINGE ON MEMORISATION, BUT ON KNOWING WHERE TO FIND THE EXACT RULE AND HOW TO APPLY IT UNDER TIME PRESSURE – SOMETHING THAT WE PREPARE YOU FOR!
