Aakash is a registered Advocate with the Bar Council of India, and a graduate from Symbiosis Law School, Pune (Symbiosis International University, India). Currently, he specialises as a Sports Lawyer at 14 Sports Law, an international boutique law firm based in Portugal, with a mission to provide top-notch legal advice to stakeholders in the sports industry globally.
His focus lies in the Litigation Department at 14 Sports Law, handling sports-related disputes and arbitration, primarily before the FIFA Football Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). In addition to dispute resolution, he is also involved in drafting contractual agreements, handling knowledge management, and instructing preparation courses for the FIFA Agent Exam, amongst other interesting work that the team does at 14 Sports Law.
Aakash also practices law before the Delhi High Court, District Courts in Delhi, and the instances of All India Football Federation (AIFF). His interests are diverse, covering inter alia- anti-doping, gaming, competition, intellectual property, insolvency, transactions, employment disputes, contractual matters, and constitutional law. When not navigating the legal field or talking about sports, you’ll find Aakash reading philosophy, delving into the latest tech trends, and watching stock market movements. Aakash envisions a dynamic future for sports law in India, with a strong belief that with the right resources, boundless possibilities await sports enthusiasts both on and off the field. As the Co-founder and Editor of SLRI, Aakash is committed to fostering dialogue and community building around sports law.

Ria is an associate at DSK Legal. She graduated from law school in 2023, and has spent her years in law school learning and developing her understanding of sports law and technology law. She has been in the basketball team of both her school and college and loves the spirit of sports, and it’s power to bring communities together.
Ria is intrigued by the commercial growth of the industry and hopes to be involved in the development of sports and technology in the Indian landscape. She has worked with various firms specialising in sports law and technology law, and enjoys working in the intersection of different areas of practice.

Adamay is a student at the National Law School of India Univeristy Bengaluru with a strong passion for sports law. He is particularly interested in dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and governance within the sports industry. His academic journey focuses on understanding how legal frameworks shape the business and integrity of sports, both in India and globally.
He actively explores issues such as athlete rights, contract negotiations, anti-doping regulations, and sports arbitration, aspiring to contribute to the evolving sports law landscape. With a firm belief in the power of law to drive fairness and accountability, he envisions a legal ecosystem that supports athletes, organizations, and stakeholders.
Beyond law, Adamay has a deep interest in photography, using it as a creative outlet to capture life, emotions, and everyday moments. He also enjoys tracking market trends, and staying updated on technological advancements, all of which shape his broader perspective on law and society.
